Steve Millbank, Cake People Development & Richard Artingstall, Pro Vets
Every vet practice will face change at some stage ranging from staff restructuring to moving premises; introducing a new PMS to a change of ownership. Whole books have been written on Change Management but there are some very simple principles of what to do and crucially what not to do. The first mistake many people make is to plan the change themselves and then try to ‘sell it’ to their staff, particularly if the sales pitch is largely about the benefits to the business. For change to be accepted, those concerned need to feel consulted and engaged. In this one day course on managing change in veterinary practice, Management Consultant, Steve Millbank, brings his wide experience including his work with CVS and many companies out with the profession. Richard Artingstall is a vet who has studied Change Management in veterinary practice as part of his MBA and will share case studies and his own experience.
Who will benefit: Those seeking to better understand how people react to change and how best to manage them through it.
The day will start at 10:00am and finish at 4:30pm. Workbooks, CPD certificates, lunch and refreshments are included.
